Dan Blair's Bio:

Dan Blair, learning from his own experiences, found a mission to prevent divorce if at all possible, and to protect kids if divorce is unavoidable. His aim in marriage counseling is to give the marriage the best chance to succeed, and for couples to feel they have done all they could to help their marriage. Seeing kid's heartbreak with the loss of quality time with a parent compelled Dan into divorce mediation, co-parenting counseling, and reunification therapy. Dan Blair has worked over 25 years in social service settings. Dan is experienced as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and is a trained, court-approved divorce mediator, Nationally Certified Parenting Coordinator, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. He is trained as a child custody evaluator and is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Professional Academy of Custody Experts, the National Anger Management Association, the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association. Dan has been a live-in houseparent to over forty abused or neglected children. He also has been a foster parent, a consultant to group homes and foster homes, and a Clinical Director.
